The Solent Boat Butler is a mobile yacht and boat maintenance professional who will undertake all those jobs and projects you don't have the time or inclination to tackle yourself.
Based in the central Solent and more than happy to travel to jobs between Lymington and and Chichester. Work that is outside these locations may also be possible so please call to discuss.

With a lifetime of being on or around the water your boat is in safe hands with George who grew up sailing and continues to actively race and cruise. A hands-on and skilled boat builder and boat owner George's passion for all watercraft led to working on other peoples boats in his spare time which eventually led to a full-time business providing maintenance, repair and upgrades to all types of sailing yacht.

The Solent Boat Butler has also spent time with owners that are preparing to set off for distant shores in order to provide an experienced set of eyes to consider and discuss your boat and it's systems in order to advise of any obvious deficiencies or upgrades than could make your trip safer and more enjoyable. Pre-purchase inspection
If you are considering the purchase of a yacht, particularly a Contessa or Westerly, and don't want the expense of a full survey the Solent Boat Butler can offer a thorough inspection of the boat and verbal/email report of any issues found. Please note that this is not an insurance-backed survey but an experienced inspection of likely issues.
